Wednesday 2nd September Round Up

The early Division Two table toppers are Potton Wanderers who with two goals from Sam Worthington plus strikes from Danny Fox and Ricky Aris won 4-0 at Harpur FC. But chasing them up on goal difference are both Bedford Hatters and Arlesey Social Galacticos who both came up with their own second wins of the week. A brace of goals from Scott Alleyne plus strikes from Richard Cook, Simon Pixley and Danny De Foe taking The Hatters to a 5-1 home victory over Kings AFC whose lone reply came via Marcus Tomlin while The Social were winning 3-1 at Elstow Abbey despite a home goal from David McCarthy.

Also enjoying wins on the road were Great Barford and Marabese Ceramics. Barford with goals from Gary Russon, Jason Ames, Justin Brown and Freddie Windram winning 4-2 at Clifton, for whom Garath Carter and Tony Norman netted. Whilst for The Ceramics it was a 3-0 success at Shillington. James Tizard netting a brace alongside a goal for Ricky Bruniges.

The evening's final two games bringing about a 3-3 draw between Brache Sparta Community Reserves and Luton Old Boys. Martin Collins, Nathan Prime and Kevin Lamb netting the home goals to replies from Levi Baikpon twice and Glodi Kweme. While Marston Shelton Rovers kicked off their season 5-0 home winners over Kempston Royals. Goals from Aaron Franks, Jim Burraway, Chris Patrickson, Simon Craddock and an own goal doing the damage.
